“POSH” as he recognises himself when family and friends call. CH Russkiy Assorti’c Irbis, for everybody else and formal purposes. He was born in January ’09 and I heard about him when he was around 10 weeks old. I’ve been looking for THE MALE for many years, but as I was not in any hurry neither I had interested in buying whatever dog patience led me to be able to say YES to him he was offered to me and soon arrangements were made to get him from Russia to Argentina.

His journey home was quite chaotic but I’m glad in the end he was with me and I’m glad I followed my instinct about him. During his first years he was introduced in my breeding program and produced for me an amazing quality of puppies with all the bitches I gave him. Critically talking, the females have a lot of influence on the final look of his puppies but one can clearly see his qualities being carried along, those details I wanted to introduce in my breeding. The preservation of TYPE without ignoring the elegance. Moving forward without ignoring the ORIGINS. Posh was a great male to help me do that. He is sire of +10 Champions including World Winner male in 2015.
He is a natural beauty both outside and specially inside, his temperament is unbeatable! Stable, sweet, active, controlled. All who’ve met him know that and those who got the change to spend some time with him, well, they can simply not compare him to anyone else. I can only think about my first Schnauzer, a black giant, who she had a lot of ‘this and that’. That Schnauzer thing.

He was good at the shows, but he didn’t always loved it. If he had a fun day he will show off, but he often preferred to just be doing something else! And so did I, hence his show career wasn’t that intense. Anyway, he got some amazing, indisputable, winnings. He became Champion and Grand Champion of Argentina and Champion of Estonia. He won several times Best of Breed with judges who can recognise TYPE and value it. He won the National Specialty of Schnauzer club Argentino (over all colors/sizes) with judge John Constantine, USA. To top the cake, his last show in Argentina was Best of Breed, CACIB Winner and Grand Champion with judge Walter Schicker, Germany.
